Is target shady? It appears the answer is YES!

  • Maybe it was that particular store...or maybe it is a Northern thing. 'Cause here in the South, store employees are usually falling over themselves to make the customer feel satisfied...maybe it is something to do with the water? Of course, I think K-Mart is the exception to the rule.
  • I watch it like a hawk and sometimes I check the receipt. I am aware of grocery store scams and I have even reported an Associated for mis pricing items to the city!
  • Tesco over here often move expensive products into the area of the shelf were the special offer item would be except they have run out. They say it's just so that there are no empty spaces but the expensive stuff they put there often looks very similar to the special offer product. I nearly bought a bag of mozzarella cheese for £2.99 that I thought was on offer at .99p

  • the odd thing is...that is the kind of experience I get with Walmart and not Target. At target I have the best of luck AND I always check my receipts. The few times I have found something not right in pricing....they give me the price I see.
